Bhatkal Sports is a digital platform for sports in Bhatkal. The client needed a platform for managing and displaying records of Players, Matches, Clubs, Teams, Competitions and Sporting News of Bhatkal Town.
The Website is built from scratch using PHP, Mysql, CSS and jQuery according to the client’s requirement. The application uses CricHQ Admin REST APIs for Administration purposes. Additionally, a Powerful Admin Panel was integrated with Content and Multimedia Management features, with just the right amount customization capability and ease of use for efficient running of the website.
The challenge of the project was to figure out an effective way to display the huge amount of data in an organized manner which should also be easy to read. The responsive design of the layout to make it compatible with all devices especially mobile phones, which constitutes 97% of the traffic, was a challenge in itself owing to the tabular display of statistics.
The project took approximately 8 weeks to complete.
